I absolutely adore the aged golden brown tones you used in this image. I think they complement the feel of the image wonderfully.

I think that the rays of sunlight are a bit intense, or that there may be too many that are too intense. It almost makes it look like there is a thin gauzy veil over the viewer, like the curtains on the right. I like the idea of the sunlight coming through, but it looks just a little too intense.

The birdcage is my favorite part. I love the golden notes you have coming from the bird. It is almost like the girl is caged, and the bird is a symbol of her hope, or her ability to 'sing despite her cage' I guess. It's a very beautiful image.
