This is entirely draw/painted in photoshop cs3 and my second digital paint!I must say i was always fascinated by this picture so i decided to paint the most beautiful eyes i ever saw!

Even though you did this a long time ago... I have to comment lol. I didn't realize that this was a famous pic and so when I did my first art manip it was on this picture that I found on some off the wall free stock site. I worked hard on it and when I was done... It looked great (for a first time) I made her a new veil... It was supposed to be what she may have looked like if she had the money that other girls her age had. I too loved her eyes. So when I was done, I showed my husband my before and after. He knew right away what photo it was and told me that it was one of time life's most popular covers EVER. Mine was not a painting, it was a manip. So I learned not to ever use that stock site again. Because I haven't made anything as good as my first project lol.
But since I know that photo like the back of my hand I can say without a doubt that you did an EXCELLENT job with all of her.. especially her eyes and skin texture. (wish I could paint).

Thank you so much,this was my first(or second) digital painting i guess.
I know...i learned the hard way the same stock rules,just as you,i guess.
Digital painting it's such a huge time and patience consuming(i have neither),
that's why i only made a few.
I think my latest digital painting [link] got a bit better but it was an exhausting task,
took me like a couple of hours every day, for more than a week...
Btw i would like to see that manip you made but i guess it's not in your gallery...

No, I didn't put it in because the rules on Manips are different then painting. Because really you can paint anything your only using your talent and sometimes memory. Your actually using the photo for a manip. I know you do both and do both well. It was my first. Quite a few mistakes, but actually better then anything else I have done. Like I said, because I know exactly what the details and stuff looked like on that photo.. I know you did a great job with it. It maybe time consuming but maybe you will get faster when you get used to it. You haven't done that many. If I had that talent I would continue with it. Look how good your manips are and I am sure you were not as fast when you first started as you are now..You know what they say... Use it or lose it

i was fascinated by her eyes too..... well, at first. n then everyone were saying that were scary... nyway check out my version of the same pic. n coincidentally it was my second digi painting made on cs3 using mouse
